Fanfiction!

I have been writing fanfiction for most of my life now and have quite the portfolio of works. My primary platform is AO3 and the main fandoms I write for are Sherlock BBC, Doctor Who, Hannibal, and Merlin. Current fics I'm writing/updating are "Symphony Of The Serpent" (Jimlock), "Spiralling Through Spacetime" (Tensimm) and "So, I'm Missing A Kidney" (Eyeless Jack). ENTER MY MINDSCAPE

I am many things. A perfectionist, a chaos creature, a caretaker, an artist, a philosipher, but one of the most relevant parts of my being is the writer. A bit of backstory: I was selectivley mute as a child. This was for multiple reasons, most of which are too heavy to dicuss right now, but in my little brain, my voice wasn't important. I spent my time expeiriencing the world rather than commenting on it. Funnily enough I was a great reader though. I loved to listen and learn. When it came to learning to write in my school years I excelled. When life was hardest, writing gave me the solace I needed. It was an escape and an friend. As a young queer nerd I fell in love with the fictinal relationships between my favourite characters. Imagining the joy they could feel with eachother, where they could be loved for who they were, helped me feel less alone in the world. Even when I wasn't appreciated, I could imagine a world in which they were. This is where my love for fanfiction and writing as a whole bloomed. It is an incredibly important part of my life and journey and I'll always love it.
