This is partially notes for myself, and helpful information for others. This is will be my guide on building a very basic eco-home based around ancient indigenous techniques from various places in the world.

Exterior

  • Home Foundation

This will be built of stone bricks. Must be deemed safe in the climate and soil as well as stable.
  • Walls

This will built of Cob and Clay. Must be built in accordance with ventilation, heating and cooling, weather, fire and water. Geo-thermal heating system will be built in accorance with the walls and floor.
  • Roof

It will be built in tiles each lifted up on top of the building. Will be made out of light and weatherproof natural materials.
  • Well Build a hand-pumped well. The well will lead to very basic plumbling and cooling systems.
  • Underground Cellar

The cellar must be dug out and stablized using stone and wood. There will also be a meat prep room attached, both built to avoid smells that attract other animals. Both ideally will be the proper tempature needed to preserve food.
  • Garden

Vine entrance, potatos, tomatoes, and onions in the middle, berries along the edges. Apple and apricot trees lining the garden. Next area is the Samhain/autumn garden with pumpkins and squashes and mushrooms, then us the poison and witchcraft garden. To the side but still in garden is the herb spiral with direct sunlight. By the pond put sugarcane and grow wheat throughout the autumn garden.

  • Chicken coop

  • Stables

  • Windows

Using glass panes stablized into the structure of the house.

  • Outside Toilet It will use a waterprrof material conveyor belt system most likely covered in Beeswax or another system which I will step on a peddle to move. It will move the waste into a chamber of dirt that lasts round 10 years, from there microbes and bugs will feed on it.

    Interior

  • Kitchen

Built waterproof and fireproof, mostly using stone and homewade tiles. Must build Icebox, Hearth, Table, Chairs, Cutlery, Cups, Plates, Bowls, Cooking nessecaties, Caludron.
  • Living Space

Seats carved out of the floor surrounded by homeade pillows, blankets, and furs. Various storage builds made of wood, bamboo or built into the walls.
  • Bathroom

As the toilet is outside this room is only for hygiene. The Banya/bath is the centre of the room built out of homeade tiles and stone, filled by hand from the well, geo-thermal heating in the Banya. Wash bin made of stone also there for regular bathing and washing hands. Ther is also another washbin for soaking clothes.
  • Bedroom

The bed will be made of wood, a basic frame barely off the ground covered with a straw-filled mattress and pillow, furs and blankets.
